FORD F-SERIES TRUCK / SUV AUTOGUARD ANTITHEFT DEVICES PACKAGE CONTAINS: (1)-AUTOGUARD/FORD PART TOOLS REQURIED FOR INSTALLATION 8MM SOCKET TACK PULLER / SCREWDRIVER Installation Instructions : Step 1 With hood open, remove plastic core-support cover by locating and removing all two-piece plastic lock pins.

 (Some models do not have core-support) Step 2 Locate hood latch assembly anchor bolt on left side (passenger), Remove bolt Step 3 Locate hood latch assembly anchor bolt on right side Remove bolt. Step 4 Position AUTOGUARD over latch assembly aligning mounting holes with existing latch assembly holes. PLEASE NOTE: Ford uses a clip nut on the frame for securing the anchor bolt to the frame. Be careful when removing bolt, so clip will not fall off of frame. Step 5-a Insert Anchor bolt on left side hand tighten. Step 5-b Insert Anchor bolt on right side hand tighten.

Step 6 Tighten Anchor bolts, after you have aligned both sides. Step 7 Reinstall plastic core-support cover by locating and inserting all two-piece plastic lock pins. (Some models do not have core-support).
